ICIL was created in Barcelona in 1980 with the aim of promoting and disseminating logistics´ business. Its objective is to bring together logistics professionals to become a meeting point and a forum for discussion of ideas and experiences, offering them services inherent to their profession such as visits to companies, job vacancies, professional logistics advisory. Its mission is to promote logistics activities in its broadest sense, including training, logistics support for professionals and companies, dissemination and research, aimed at improving economic efficiency. ICIL's values are: knowledge, specialization, commitment, ethics, quality and innovation.
