ecoDeliver is a courier service offering sustainable deliveries for ecommerce, going beyond electric mobility. It combines a 100% electric last mile with collaborative transport between major cities, where individuals carry packages in the free space of their vehicles, avoiding unnecessary truck trips. This creates an almost carbon-free, efficient, and cost-effective logistics chain. As a development project, ecoDeliver will implement an AI system to predict traveler volumes on routes to estimate available shipping capacity. In a second phase, it will incorporate 3D printing to produce devices that enhance safety in collaborative trips, strengthening the service’s innovation and sustainability.
