This group is aimed at manufacturers of solutions such as AGV, AMR, ACR, SGV, and AIV, with the goal of driving innovation in the management of logistics flows. Its main differentiating value lies in the creation of a common technical and regulatory framework, designed to improve interoperability, standardize performance criteria, and analyze both physical and digital interfaces. In this context, the importance of standardization is emphasized to facilitate the work of all stakeholders in the sector, which is why active participation and sharing of opinions is encouraged. These contributions will be essential in drafting future standards, ensuring they reflect the real needs of the market. Additionally, a statistical study will be conducted at the European level to identify market trends, segmented by technology, application, and sector. The AIV Group will provide a space for cooperation to anticipate the challenges of automation and strengthen the sector's competitiveness. All of this will be under the leadership of FEM, the European federation of reference in material handling. With this initiative, FEM-AEM not only bets on the digital transformation of the sector but also leads an evolution towards a more efficient, collaborative, and sustainable model.
