Panel 1 - Goods and Strategic Connectivity in the Mediterranean

This panel will focus on air and rail connectivity in the Mediterranean, analyzing ways to improve logistics efficiency and strengthen the integration of strategic corridors. Topics will include major air cargo hubs, connectivity with key markets, and operational and regulatory challenges. Rail corridors, intermodality with ports and airports, and the need for coordination between public and private actors will also be explored. Cargo operators, logistics platforms, and companies operating in the Mediterranean will share experiences and discuss challenges and opportunities to increase regional competitiveness. The format will be a moderated panel with time for audience questions.
