ESTUN Robotics is one of the leading players in the global industrial robotics industry and, since 2025, the largest industrial robot manufacturer in China by installation volume. Founded in 1993 under the name Estun Automation, the company was initially focused on industrial automation and quickly developed its own motion control technology, power electronics, and servo systems. In 2011, it created its dedicated robotics division, Estun Robotics, with the goal of providing complete solutions for advanced automation.
Unlike many other manufacturers, ESTUN has followed a vertically integrated strategy known as “All made by ESTUN”, which allows the company to design and manufacture almost all of the robot’s key components in-house — including mechanics, electronics, and software. This results in high levels of compatibility, reliability, and highly competitive pricing. The only exception is the reducer technology, supplied by Nabtesco, the global leader in this critical component. ESTUN’s strong commitment to innovation is reflected in its annual R&D investment, which represents nearly 10% of its profits, as well as achievements such as its 120,000-hour MTBF certification, demonstrating top-tier reliability. Its entire robot portfolio is CE certified and fully compliant with European safety standards through TÜV Rheinland certification.
The company offers more than 100 industrial robot models covering payloads from 3 kg up to 1,200 kg, including six-axis robots, SCARA robots, palletizing solutions, welding robots, foundry robots, cleanroom-certified systems, and advanced AI-based robotic applications. In 2023, ESTUN launched an ambitious European expansion plan, including a manufacturing plant in Poland and subsidiaries across the continent’s key industrial markets.
In Spain, ESTUN has established its Iberian headquarters at the DFactory in Barcelona and also operates facilities in Valencia, with the aim of providing local support, technical training, and a growing
