'Big data' and its use in the Supply Chain planning
Facing the reality of the 4.0 industry that we are living at current, the logistics field is also facing the new challenges that mean the sector's digitalization process. In this sense, the Big Data management will be, without a doubt, one of the fields that will make the largest impact on our business network. The AI changes will allow the automatic treatment of data, both own and external, and more accurate decisions regarding the supply chain. Data will become, then, in a high value asset for companies, that will have to invest to turn them into a profitability source, guiding organizations on the economy of information.
