FGC is the public company of the Catalan Government of Catalonia responsible for the maintenance, operation, modernization and expansion of its own rail network. It also handles the acquisitions, transmissions, works and services that are convenient for its better exploitation. It also deals with: expanding, renovating or improving establishments and means of exploitation; urban development, management, commercial and tourist services and their exploitation on real estate located in lands of influence of the transportation services.
